About the role

On behalf of one of our client, Academic Work is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join Danfoss growing Ally Cloud solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of developing the future cloud infrastructure for innovative smart thermostats while maintaining maintaining existing software platforms for B2C and B2B customers.

We are in search of a software developer with extensive experience in full stack development, coupled with a strong commitment to quality. You will join a team that knows how to have fun while fully empowering its members to innovate and excel in their roles, and will be involved in developing a world-class cloud infrastructure for Ally products. The development approach leverages Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture principles on top of an Event-Driven architecture. Modern technologies such as .Net, React, Azure, MongoDB, Containers, and Databricks are utilized, with communication to IoT devices using protocols like Zigbee.

Work tasks

• Designing and implementing new frontend features on top of their backend services.
• Designing and implementing new backend functions.
• Collaborating with the team in shaping and refining software architecture designs for optimal performance and scalability.
• Collaborating with Danfoss's external partners.
• Engaging in code reviews to maintain code quality and contributing to the continuous improvement of development practices.
• Playing a crucial role in developing software solutions at every stage of the product development life cycle.
• Collaborating with product management on the technical aspects.
• Staying updated on the latest trends and technologies, and actively incorporating new advancements into their development processes.

We are looking for

• Around +5 years of experience in software development
• A relevant university degree in Computer and Information science, or equivalent work experience
• Fluent in .NETand one or more frontend technologies like React
• Experience in frontend software development incl. responsive design, and experience in backend software development
• Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases
• Experience with IoT communication protocols like Zigbee
• Practical experience working with a public cloud like Azure
• Experience in agile working methods (SCRUM, Kanban or similar)
• Experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery principles
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Furthermore, you are a motivated and committed full stack developer with a collaborative and open-minded attitude and you have experience developing both frontend and backend solutions in a modern software development environment. Experience in UI/UX principles is considered an advantage.
