In this position, you’re accountable for developing profitable sales growth through existing sales channels, such as distribution, web sales and Machine Tool partners. In collaboration with our Regional Sales Manager and the respective Account Manager, you cascade, adopt and implement the global channel strategy to local markets. You drive channel marketing plans and initiatives. To reach set goals and objectives, you execute our strategy and Sales Cluster tactics within identified sales channels, and you manage and control our local sales channel strategy. In addition, you develop business relations with channel partners and ensure that end-user and channel partner relations are successfully managed. In this role you’re also part of the Nordic Cluster Management Team where you take responsibility for driving channel topics and are available to support overall Cluster priorities.
The location for this position is flexible within our Nordic sales cluster and requires extensive travel within the area, as well as in other sales regions.
We’re looking for someone with a degree, or equivalent qualification, in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, economics or another related field. You have experience of modern machining materials, characteristics and practices, including the theory and practical application of cutting tools and modern metal cutting processes. A couple of years’ experience of managing customer relationships, ideally via distributors, in a sales capacity, including communication, presentation, and negotiation is great to have. Knowledge in channel marketing, or the willingness and genuine interest to learn marketing concepts and activities is required to be successful in this role. As you need to be able to analyze data, you also have competence in Power BI, CRM-systems. A current driver’s license valid for assigned territory is essential. As you’re acting in a global organization, you need to be fluent in English, verbally and in writing. Knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
