As a Payroll Administrator based in our Bury St Edmunds offices on a hybrid working basis you will assist in payroll processing of over 39,000 employees across our four-weekly payrolls. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone that perhaps has payroll experience but would like to develop their skills and qualification as we are able to support and develop you further through a payroll qualification (CIPP) via our training provider.

You’ll receive a competitive salary, pension contribution as well as:
Your role as Payroll Administrator
Data input of employee information into GKi
Validating data entered onto GKi by employees and managers
Processing payroll and checking calculations of statutory payments and deductions
Processing of absence and calculation of sick/maternity/paternity/shared parental/adoption payments
Assist with any ad hoc project work as required
What you’ll bring…
Good numeric and literacy skills, GCSE Maths and English (9-6 or A*-B) are essential, further education is desirable
Good level of IT literacy inclusive of Microsoft Excel
1-year high volume Payroll experience (desirable but not essential)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proven team player with high levels of integrity, confidentiality and discretion
Organised, methodical, self-motivated, and committed to providing quality service
Ability to react positively to sudden and unexpected changes in demand; a "can do" attitude
Ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines
