About the role

As Global Compliance & Regulatory Counsel, you will execute on the priorities of the Group Compliance & Integrity function and will help the organization leaders understand a complex and dynamic regulatory environment so proper actions can be taken. You will work with all levels of the organization, including executives. This role supports the VP Compliance & Integrity, who is principally responsible for driving designated priorities of the Group Compliance & Integrity function across the Husqvarna Group. Your responsibilities will include i.a. managing certain compliance program initiatives, including training, policies, communications, and key performance indicators and managing components of key compliance program pillars. You will also assist with monitoring and providing strategic legal support related to notable regulatory initiatives pertaining to Sustainability, Supply Chain, ESG and Connected Products.

The position is based at HQ in Stockholm, Sweden. You report directly to VP Compliance & Integrity, also based in Stockholm, who reports to EVP Legal Affairs & General Counsel. The Legal Affairs team is a global organization, with all members reporting directly or indirectly to the Group General Counsel. As such, there is significant opportunity to work with colleagues across the globe.

Who you are

In order to be successful, we believe that you have the following background and skills:
• Legal degree with 2 – 5 years relevant experience
• Experience working within a global ethics and compliance team a plus
• Strong problem solving, risk analysis, and project management skills
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills; second language a plus
• Ability to work with confidential and highly sensitive information
• Collaborative team player with ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and projects both within and outside of the compliance function
