Job description
As a Regional Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the local governance of Arval entities in the Nordics and providing an independent opinion on credit files. You will also contribute to the definition of the credit framework and credit rules for Corporates and Individuals and participate in committees such as Watchlist, provisioning, and collection.
Your role also entails:
• Provide opinion on credit files, review and challenge the analysis and rating.
• Act as Credit Delegation Holder.
• Ensure the credit requests are coherent with the credit rules and risk appetite of Arval in the Nordics.
• Contribute to the deployment and update of credit policies for the Region.
• Deploy the Risk Control Self-Assessment for credit risk activities.
• Perform Generic Control Plan related to credit risk activities.
• Perform and manage reporting with the purpose of monitoring the quality of the credit portfolio of the Nordic Region.
• Contribute to the improvement of data quality.
• Comply properly with all activities related to the Group financial security policies, procedures and controls.
• Act as 2nd line of defence for Corporate and Social Responsibility .
Who are you?
You have the equivalent of a bachelor´s or master´s degree in finance and at least 5 years of experience in credit management. You also have experience in governance, credit process and control plan from a similar role. You are fluent in English and preferably one of the Nordic languages.
For this role it is also important that you are a structured person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are a team player with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
