Global Logistics Lead
For this recruitment Logent are seeking an experienced Global Logistics Lead. The Logistics Management function is responsible for all distribution activities including transports, contract management and warehousing operations. The responsibility includes to drive the changes of outsourced warehouse operations worldwide and new ways of working.
As a Global Logistics Lead Lead for Hästens Global Logistics team with the objective to deliver on time and according to customer expectations with the highest quality. Hästens are on a mission to bring the best sleep in the world to more and more people everywhere. To enable future growth the Global Logistics Lead will have an important role to drive and implement structural changes needed. Hästens Logistics Platform is key to having the capability to serve our customers with world class solutions.
Teamwork and communication are crucial, the Global Logistics Lead will have a key role interacting with almost all departments in Hästens.
The Global Logistics Lead reports reports to COO
Primary responsibilities
- Create the Logistics Strategy and Business Plan on a 3–5-year horizon with a 10X mindset
- Implement the strategic decision of 100% outsourced warehousing operations globally
- Drive, implement and follow up OKRs to deliver to the long-term plans
- Responsible for the Logistics team, enable high performance and organizational development globally
- Ensuring the highest quality for deliveries of Hästens products to partner stores and end customers
- Support implementation and develop Hästens growing E-Com business worldwide
- Contract management within transport and warehouse services (3PL)
- Secure operational planning of transport, execution, follow up and customs handling
- Develop Supply Chain policies and way of working with warehouse fulfilment
- IT-related projects, planning, 3PL operations, track-and-trace, distribution set-ups, replenishment to stores
- Secure on time delivery precision and supplier performance, distribution cost and 3PL performance. Follow up on CO2 emissions
- Work in close cooperation with other functions such as Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Production
Skills and requirements
- Bachelor or master’s degree in industrial engineering is required, Supply chain knowledge is a strong plus
- 3+ years’ experience of international logistics management
- Experience in supply chain planning and replenishment is a plus
- Experience in people management and lead others
- Experience in using tools such as Microsoft Office365, Salesforce
- Position is based in Sweden
- Ability to communicate with and on all levels of the organization
- Good communication skills, written and spoken in English and Swedish
- Ability to work independently and well in team
- Willingness and ability to travel when required
- Excellent relationships building skills
- Change management, drive change in a close collaboration with other departments in Hästens
- Have a holistic way of working with Supply Chain
- Understanding of inventory management and stock balance control
