• Standardize the industry - developing common specifications and standards that can be used by all players and at all stages in the construction industry 

Successful candidates would join the Group Finance & IT which leads NCC's strategy development and major change programs in the business. Group Finance & IT also drives research and innovation and is NCC's development and delivery function for IT and operations development.    

Your role as IT Procurement Manager

• You will be part of a strong team of IT procurement professionals
• You will be leading IT sourcing projects
• You will have a key role in the  IT procurement roadmap execution in terms of processes and ways of working
• You will drive transformative sourcing strategies related to your area/categories
• Apply legal knowledge to navigate complex issues and challenges in an IT Sourcing context.

Your profile 

Your background can be in IT or in Technical/Digital procurement, but most importantly lifelong learning is one of your core values.

You will be very important for us in our strategic journey why we need you to:

• have a good knowledge of sourcing IT Categories, especially in the categories within IT infrastructure (on prem, cloud), connectivity, end user services including application lifecycle management
• have led or strongly contributed to strategic sourcing activities and category management, where you preferably have been a responsible sourcing lead or a key stakeholder in sourcing decisions 
• be experienced in IT vendor management acting preferably as a contract manager who has a good understanding of basic IT contracting framework and principles in addition to performance -, risk management activities incorporated to the supplier management framework 
• have knowledge in different technical deployment models and  architectural complexity allowing you to evaluate sourcing requirements and choose  the most optimal sourcing approach  
• already know the agile operating environment, or you have an ambition to learn more 
• have a deep interest in maintaining your knowledge regarding relevant technology development, tools, and methods as well as trends and outlook beyond traditional procurement layer (incl. agile way of working, platform ecosystems, IT frameworks, digital transformation)
• have the experience in managing tasks efficiently and being able to juggle multiple responsibilities effortlessly 
• to have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and one Nordic language.

• have an attitude to do everything from the scratch if required 
• work well under pressure with strong level of self-leadership  
• result driven and have ability to think conceptually, engage, persuade and follow-up to ensure the results  
• be adventurous, you are willing to try new sourcing techniques and think outside of the box.  

Additional information  

This position will require travelling to NCC head office in Solna, Sweden, but your home office can be in any of the major cities in Sweden, Norway or Denmark. the Nordics. However, we do apply a flexible way of working and strive to collaborate digitally as much as possible. The position may require travelling 3 - 4 days a month within the Nordic countries.
