Financial Reporting - a part of our Advisory organization
At Advisory, we are organized into five large units: Consulting, Deals, Risk Advisory, ESG and Legal. Our Advisory Services professionals work with practitioners from across the firm who have the right mix of industry and functional expertise to help our clients address their most complex business issues from strategy through execution. What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting and/or audit to join our Accounting Consulting Services (ACS) team. This team is part of our Financial Reporting team, which is a department that mainly works with financial reporting and advisory on complex accounting matters.
What we offer you:
The Accounting Consulting Services team is a team of accounting specialists. As part of the PwC Global ACS network, we aim to deliver expert accounting technical advice to clients and engagement teams regarding the application and interpretation of corporate reporting standards with particular emphasis on IFRS including digital reporting/ESEF, Swedish GAAP and sustainability reporting/ESG. You’ll keep PwC teams and clients informed about accounting and financial reporting developments that might affect clients through issuing communications and through curated training. You’ll also assist with developing and communicating PwC’s point of views to internal and external parties as needed. The main activities of the team are summarized below:
Provide technical support and advice on complex accounting and financial reporting topics under IFRS and Swedish GAAP
Work closely with other PwC service lines on multi-disciplinary projects as a subject matter accounting specialist
Develop and deliver corporate reporting training to internal and external audiences
Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points relating to corporate reporting
Perform technical reviews of financial statements to ensure compliance with the principles and disclosure requirements of IFRS and Swedish GAAP
Marketing PwC via seminars, production of reference material and publications

Your profile:
We’re looking for someone who has a solid interest in complex accounting and financial reporting issues. As a person you are curious and enjoy learning new things. You have a professional approach and a focus on client relations and how to add value for the client. We also think you have a genuine interest in working with complex accounting and financial reporting issues, and a strong ability to plan, execute and prioritise. Others describe you as structured and you do not compromise on quality even if the deadline is short. Being an advisor within ACS is characterised by a “can-do” attitude and places high demands on abilities such as flexibility and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Skill sets required:
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s is preferred
Experience (3-5 years) of working in the field of accounting and financial reporting and/or audit
Business proficiency in spoken and written English and Swedish
To succeed in this role, we think you are able to:
perform research on accounting matters, legislation and regulatory issues in a structured and meticulous manner
work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
work as part of a team as well as independently
prepare and deliver presentations on topical issues
