Responsibilities
We see data as an asset and an enabler to develop our business but also as an important piece of the puzzle in PwC's digital journey forward. Gathering and presenting insights requires an understanding of the business, its data, and the technology used to store and analyze the information. Through our data warehouse, visualizations and embedded dashboards, we deliver interactive reports and analyzes that help our users run their business more efficiently.

You will be part of our Data, Analytics & Automation team, consisting of ~20 persons. A team in which we value knowledge sharing, like to pair-program as much as possible and have a good team spirit. We care for each other and expect you to be a team player. We are in the starting blocks for building a new BI/DW-solution to adapt to a more fast paced environment where data is accessed and used more directly by our colleagues in other teams at PwC.

 
In this role you will build solutions that will help to make impactful decisions by mixing mind and machine to leverage data, understand and navigate risk, and help us gain a competitive edge.

You will: 

• be part of an IT department in change and with focus on constant improvements, both technical and ways of working and we expect you to contribute
• have a great chance to develop your skills together with the highly dedicated BI-team
• work closely with the business in a collaborative team that solves problems together
• have opportunity to take ownership of the entire development cycle
• develop new features as well as maintaining current solutions

Preferred skills

• We are looking for a Business Intelligence developer with experience in Microsoft BI Stack, preferably full stack. Technical platforms that we are working with are:
• MS BI Stack (SQL Server database, SSAS, SSIS)  
• Power BI 
• Azure (Azure Data factory, Azure Functions in C#, Analysis services and more)
• CI/CD via Azure Devops and GIT
• ...and tools like Redgate, Visual Studio, BIML

To be successful in this role, you need to be a self-motivated, curious and proactive person who enjoys thinking through and creating solutions for complex problems in a fast paced environment. If you have experience from working with Azure, Data Engineering/Science, Data Management and/or Advanced analytics/machine learning that is also meritorious.
