Your future plans
Your role will have significant influence on driving operational performance across the entire offshore operational fleet, with a main focus on being the technical lead for our Fleet Contracts.
Fleet Contracts:
- Develop and maintain fruitful professional networks with subject matter experts within RWE, Procurement and the Offshore Operations Site teams to understand business requirements and identify and co-ordinate fleet contract requirements
- Develop business cases based on cost, benefit, and environmental considerations to justify frameworks and contracts
- Draft specifications for fleet contracts or oversee and review those developed by the sites to provide a combined fleet specification to the procurement team.
- Be the technical lead during the tender process, liaising with sites and procurement, as required, for technical evaluation of tenders, tender clarification meetings and negotiations for a fleet agreement.
- Promote the usage and benefits of fleet contracts to the site teams through user group meetings, workshops and roadshows.
- End to end management of fleet contracts where required, in which you will be the main point of contact receiving feedback from the users, leading review meetings with the suppliers and supporting the sites and procurement in managing any contractual issues.
- Review current market offerings, advancements and new technologies etc, competitor knowledge and benchmarking.
- Be the main point of contact for Fleet Contracts in Offshore Operations
Fleet Management:
- Drive global strategic projects, manage and coordinate fleetwide activities (including commercial, engineering, operational, organizational and contractual, risk and opportunities)
- Collaborate closely with the Offshore Operations teams to continuously identify performance optimization potential and develop operational excellence; link with internal specialists, central support functions and wider industry as necessary
Your Qualifications
- Successfully completed university studies or equivalent in Engineering, Economics, or a relevant discipline
- Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of wind assets and of asset management concepts, principles, tools and techniques
- Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively in situations where stakeholders have conflicting interests and priorities
- Experience of managing contracts for multiple users
- Advanced project management skills and ability to manage international project teams
- Precise, persistent and thorough, able to set and maintain quality standards for their work
- Business fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages desirable
