The Senior Systems Specialist will be an SAP ERP Functional expert with a strong accounting background to help us support and lead us in our journey from Peoplesoft and other on-premises financial applications to SAP.  The Senior Systems Specialist will play a key role in the transition and day-to-day support of RWE Clean Energy's current Financial Systems and help convert to and support SAP. 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide support for Financial Systems including troubleshooting issues.
• Assist in the conversion, mapping and training from the former financial systems to SAP
• Document business processes in preparation for the conversion/transition of the financial systems
• Support development of enhancements and process changes including reports as needed

Qualifications: 

• Minimum five (5) years of financial or related systems experience in a functional support role
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration or computer science/MIS
• Experience implementing and supporting SAP with in-depth working knowledge of the core financial modules and reporting
• Familiarity with Oracle EPBCS (Financials, Workforce, Projects, and Capital) preferred
• Financial Systems implementation and business analyst experience
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft preferred
• Highly experienced in office computer skills, such as, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical skills, with an in-depth attention to details, well organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and effective communications with all users and support staff.
• Ability to present information verbally and in written form in a clear and precise manner.
• Strong ability to resolve problems, either individually or by coordinating with the financial management and technical support staff.

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $119,000 - $178,800 . The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
