Reporting to the Head of Fleet Management & Support, your role as “Fleet Servicing Team Lead” will have responsibility for delivering offshore servicing of wind turbines from a Service Operations Vessel, across multiple offshore operational sites. As a newly established team, the team lead will be responsible for developing the strategy for servicing and then physical implementation and delivery. The team size will be ~20 internal FTE (back, office planning and offshore Service Team leads (plus large external contractor workforce) with scope to grow depending on the future expansion to increase capability or service additional sites. The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Develop the fleet service delivery concept and implementation plan including staffing, contracting, supply chain, safety and logistics.
• Recruit and build the team and establish working processes and practices.
• Establishing safe systems of work for the servicing performed by the offshore operational team members and the interfaces with the SOV.
• Placing relevant supply chain contracts for parts, tools and equipment.
• Developing the work instructions and appropriate QA systems.
• Establishing optimized working patterns and planning/scheduling tools for effective service delivery.
• In collaboration with operational sites and Performance Optimsiation develop optimized and bundled service schedules and maintenance requirements.
• Place and manage the key contractor resource contracts.
• Proactive engagement and collaboration with operational sites will be essential, and also managing the key external stakeholders as necessary e.g. Joint Venture Partners.

Experience & Qualifications

• Operations: Significant Offshore Wind O&M experience required in an operational role, preferably working with/on SOVs.
• Team Leadership: Experience of building and leading medium sized teams preferably in an operational function, and creating a positive, energised working atmosphere with HS&E at its core.
• Change management: ability to create a vision, on-board team members and stakeholders, and drive through change to deliver new ways of working.
• Continuous Improvement: Constantly optimizing the ways of working and performance.
• Working Together: Ability to collaborate across department and teams.   
• Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate internally & externally.
• Degree & Masters courses or equivalent would be preferable
• Languages: English is mandatory, German preferred
