Your future plans
Group Cyber Security of RWE AG bundles international security expertise. It provides strategies, concepts, group directives, methods and security services throughout the Group to continuously improve the protection of customers, employees, and business partners, as well as assets and information.
- Serve as the contact person for the entire cyber security portfolio at RWE Renewables
- Understand the specifics of the renewables activities and translate them into security requirements
- Drive and execute strategic cyber security activities and implement best practices
- Ensure the development of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensure compliance with national and international legal and regulatory requirements for information security
- Take on security service requests based on group standards and work towards high-quality service provision
- Conduct regular security meetings with RES management in coordination with the Chief Information Security Officer
- Participate in the regular revision of group-wide security standards and introduce corresponding requirements
- Collaborate with OT Security to align interdisciplinary approaches within the worldwide renewables business
Your powerful skills
- Academic degree, preferably in (business) informatics, economics or a comparable field relevant to the function
- Several years of professional experience in information / IT security
- Experience to successfully drive safety issues through personality, expertise and professional project management
- Hands-on mentality, don't shy away from open feedback
- Be willing to travel occasionally in Germany and other countries where RWE is active
- Business fluent English in written and spoken communication
- Depth knowledge of common IT / security frameworks (e.g. NIST, COBIT, ITIL) as well as standards in information security, particularly the ISO27000 series
- Professional certification (CISSP, CISM, or CISA) or be willing to acquire one

- Experience in the renewables sector
