Our Procurement Strategy & Sustainability team within RWE Central Procurement is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager Strategy.
Your future plans
- Lead and manage international Supply Chain & Procurement excellence projects with a high degree of departmental interaction
- Develop, present and articulate conceptual and strategic decision proposals, and prepare information papers to provide strategic consulting to the higher management level (Head of Central Procurement Strategy, Processes & Claim Management)
- Design strategic concepts, processes and guiding methodologies with specific focus on Procurement Strategy
- Establish, implement and monitor Procurement initiatives and KPIs for the RWE Supply Chain
- Demonstrate strong business acumen, with experience in developing and executing procurement strategies that deliver value to the organization and support business goals
- Identify Supply Chain trends and evaluate business relevant insights of the Renewables market, suppliers and competitors
- Collaborate and professionally engage with external and internal partners
- Ensure reliable and sustainable relationships with international stakeholders
Your profile
- Excellent completed university degree in industrial engineering and management, economics, business informatics or a comparable degree
- Profound professional work experience in purchasing topics and in dealing with complex processes and systems (E2E)
- Advanced knowledge and experience of strategic and operative procurement
- Extensive knowledge of the energy industry – preferably in the area of Renewables
- Consulting skillset and excellent presenting skills with the ability to explain complex project details in a straightforward way
- Highly independent, systematic, quality- and goal-oriented approach to work as well as broad methodological skills
- Excellent and proven experience in project management and presenting skills as project or sub-project manager
- Ability to be proactive and take responsibility for a wide range of matters, while responding to business demands
- International experience and business fluent German and English skills
- High team-orientation and social competence
- Moderate willingness to travel internationally
