RWE AG IT enable the RWE AG to gain their targets derived out of our Growing Green strategy. We are the digital backbone of our future grows. To achieve these goals, we need innovative ideas that support RWE in its goal to become climate neutral.

As “HHead of Corporate Solutions RWE AG”, we offer you the chance to steer and influence the operations processes of our finance, cash management and consolidation systems. In doing so, we expect you to work as a convincing, self-confident manager, in close alignment with the business and supported by a motivated team. Our goal is continuous improvement of our business processes supported by IT.

• Build an efficient customer interface and understand and support requirements with creative and innovative ideas
• Define the IT strategy, roadmap, architecture, and budget in close alignment with our overall business and IT strategies and relevant stakeholders in RWE AG. Discuss business requirements regarding our IT Strategy on eye level
• Continuously validate IT to derive measures and recommendations that add value and/or improve our business processes
• Ensure services meet business needs, especially mission-critical applications with the highest availability requirements
• Provide flexible workforce to handle workload and extended hours. Ensure smooth operations in areas such as application development and maintenance, and coordination of core business activities with our business units and other IT  departments
• Improve service quality through continuous optimization and evaluation against performance metrics
• Provide simple corporate applications (approx. 300) for all RWE companies
• Steer the implementation of needed applications and services, and provide functional expertise and coordination for implementation of relevant national and international projects
• Lead and manage our teams that are responsible for delivering RWE AG IT applications, both technically and disciplinarily. Manage solution responsible and team leads across different hierarchical levels. Encourage and steer people development

Your profile

• You have successfully graduated in IT, (Business) Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar commercial discipline e.g. finance, banking     
• You have gained at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in IT as well as in the context of finance and accounting that support commercial processes like group finance. High familiarity with corresponding organizational structures and technologies
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA to discuss with our business and delivery units on eye level
• Comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting, group consolidation and external reporting
• Knowledge of treasury management systems as well as interfaces to trading platforms (preferably Wallstreet Suite)
• Knowledge in payment systems, connectivity to global banking portals and processing of payment media files and statements (ISO20022)
• Several years of experience in leading and managing local, virtual and international teams in matrix organisations as well as external IT service providers
• You show strong communication and presentation skills and a high proficiency in written and spoken English and German as well as a result-oriented working style and high degree of responsibility, loyalty, teamwork ability, reliability and flexibility
