Your role:
As part of the Offshore GIS Team you support all of the company’s offshore development, construction and operational projects with a full range of technical analysis and design services. The GIS team within the Offshore function supports the projects with a variety of GIS related services in the fields of data management, data processing, spatial analysis, visualization and the provision of interactive web-based GIS applications. As a GIS Specialist you will support a variety of offshore wind farm projects throughout all life-cycle stages in relation to all GIS specific requests and tasks with your expertise. This role has a focus on supporting our German project pipeline but you will also have the chance to work for projects in other regions. You are responsible for all GIS-related services in alignment with the specific project requirements and needs (e.g. data management, data processing, analysis, visualization etc.). Furthermore, you will take an active part in the further continuous development and improvement of our enterprise GIS services, system and workflows. The role will also require occasional travel within the EU and attendance at industry conferences. This is an exciting role within RWE and the successful applicant will be a key member of a team with ambitious growth targets.
