What about the job?

You’re the important right-hand for the Executive Vice President, managing various administrative tasks such as travel arrangements, calendars, approvals, documentation and expenses – and you add business value by bringing your voice to the table, asking questions and giving insights. Through an organized and agile partnership, you ensure optimized office setups, plan and coordinate events and meetings. Gathering information, preparing material and documenting outcomes are also important tasks. You contribute in finding improvements, shaping smart and modern ways of working, and you also inspire us to embrace the benefits of digital tools and methods. As you work right in the middle of our organization, you get the chance to really deepen your knowledge within communications, branding and sustainability.

Great collaboration and trusting networks are key in this position, and you work closely with members of our group assistant community to share knowledge and best practices. As an Executive Assistant, you have a widely spread network and you always represent our vision and values when interacting with different parts of the Sandvik organization, as well as with external stakeholders, customers and partners worldwide.

You’ll have flexible working conditions, and your office is in either Stockholm or Sandviken. Some travel is normally a natural part of your job.

When it comes to background, you have previous experience from a similar or related role – you may have been working as an assistant or within communications, administration, or sustainability for example. A relevant education is a plus, but more important is that you have an interest and a will to grow within the areas connected to this role. High integrity is essential to us, and you always handle confidential information with care. You’re used to a global business environment – including cultural aspects and different time zones – and with your great communication skills, you’re able to interact with stakeholders in every part of our organization. As we become more and more digital, you also need to be tech-savvy and comfortably support us in the use of smart digital office solutions and new technology. On top of this, you create effective collaborations and communicate fluently in written and verbal English.
