About the job
As a Regional Sales Manager for Sandvik Coromant, you deliver financial, product, industry segment and solution targets according to the local business plan. You coach and develop a Sales Team consisting of Account Managers and Application Specialists in accurate data quality, data driven decision making, use of sales tools such as Office 365, Dynamics and Power BI. You’re responsible for ensuring that all members of the team have clearly defined targets and objectives and are also responsible for business performance management to achieve local business plan targets and objectives as well as applying succession planning for the future.
You support the team through “selling higher” at selected customers in line with business and account plans to further strengthen our relationships and develop market share. Another fundamental part of your job is to continuously development by reviewing the return on investment for your respective sales team by applying appropriate strategic customer development and proactively working cross function – ensuring efficient utilization of resources and securing profitable business. Analyzing data through business intelligence data to detect future trends to drive development is a continual focus allowing you to liaise with the Cluster Manager to produce accurate forecast, budgets and targets for business reporting.
The location for this position is in either Norway or Denmark and travelling is a natural part of the job.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a business degree or equivalent knowledge gained from work experience. You have expensive experience in sales and marketing management with engineering cutting tool skills and knowledge. To be successful in this role, you need proven track record in delivering strong business results and data driven decision process, along with outperforming market conditions. You also have successful experience from negotiations of commercial terms and conditions with industrial customers. Experience in account, sales and project management is desired and if you have experience in managing people this would be an advantage but not essential. Working in a truly global setting you need excellent English skills, verbally and in writing. Knowledge in Danish or Norwegian is a plus.
