We’re now looking for a Digital Security Operations Specialist to join us. Welcome to be part of our team!
In this position, you drive the vulnerability management (VUMA) program at Seco and cooperate with our SOC/CSIRT, follow up and support responding to security incidents. To create a more secure IT environment you collaborate with system owners and other teams to remediate vulnerabilities. You improve our detect and respond process and increase our detection capabilities by implementing new tools and make sure our way of working is streamlined. Since we’re a small team the job also offers the possibility to support and be part of other areas like GRC, SDLC and take part in new initiatives and project to support from a security perspective and create a secure solution.
The location for this position is flexible within Sweden. However, you need to be present at our site in Fagersta a couple of times per month.
We’re looking for someone with solid experience from working with cybersecurity. For this role, we believe that you need experience within VUMA, incident management and a strong overall knowledge of IT. A relevant university education is valuable, but experience and deep knowledge in the area is considered more important. Acting in a truly global environment calls for excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing.
Your personality is very important, and being an independent team player is your most important key. Thorough, structured and result driven are other features that describes you and these enables you to easily reach set goals and deliver on time. With your curious mindset you enjoy seeking new and innovative paths and happily take initiatives in all different matters.
