About the HR & Operations Director role...
The HR and Operations Director is responsible for leading the HR and Operational functions for the Manila region.
You will be a key leader of the company’s Philippines location, influencing and partnering with business leaders to collaborate as one team. This is a hands-on role overseeing the daily operations of the region and driving HR initiatives to ensure operational effectiveness and embed SiteMinder’s award-winning employment experience and company culture.
What you'll do...
Acting as the leader and ultimate decision maker for the Philippines Office, you will provide leadership and guidance for the regional office in HR and Operational aspectsOperational
Partner closely with Head Office and global teams to ensure the smooth operation of the business and to ensure that SiteMinder’s brand and values are reflected locallyEnsure local departments operate as one team, cascading strategy and goals, leading cross-departmental meetings and business reviews, and managing any disputesP&L responsibility for all office admin expenses, insurance and travelManage premises items including building, parking, catering, etcPlay a key role in supporting major regulatory/policy efforts, and subsequently ensuring that SiteMinder operates in full compliance with applicable local regulatory requirementsHR
Providing strategic, operational HR advice and coaching to the management teamUsing business and people metrics to identify requirements, issues and trendsKey contributor as part of the HR leadership team, in strategy planning and delivery of key projects Learning & Development - Partner with the L&D team to develop and deliver programs to develop talent, career and capability and leadership skills Performance Management - Support and reinforce the implementation of performance management processes in the regionEmployee Relations - Proactively manage all employee relations issuesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislative requirements relating to the employment and management of people within the regionHR Policy & Process - Maintain global HR policies, handbook and procedures for the region in line with local legislation and changes.
