Holyhead Port services two ferry operators from two roro berths . In addition the Port attracts cruise ship calls and other cargos on a deep water jetty.

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Ensure the port has well maintained infrastructure, both land and sea.
• Management of maintenance budget
• Ensuring safe maintenance operations and to ensure the port meets regulatory standards
• Management of the Technical Services team and coordination of third part contractors
• Liaise with Port and Marine Operations Manager to ensure efficient and safe operation of the port
• Support Port Manager in Fishguard on Technical Management
• Support the regional  Port Engineer on local capital and maintenance infrastructure projects

Qualifications:

• HND or equivalent in Civil/Maintenance Engineering
• Experienced in Infrastructure Management essentially within a Ports and Marine environment.
• Planned Maintenance systems.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Some project Management experience
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of H&S and other legal, statutory and technical requirements within your discipline.
• Budget control
• Full UK driving licence
