Based in our Blagdon site Operations department you will be a key member of a team responsible for preparing pallets of finished goods for despatch, intake of materials, and preparing packaging orders for the Production team. Working in a distinctive, ambitious and trusted manufacturing company that is committed to making great British dairy the right way. Forever. Working closely with the Team Manager your duties will include chilling product, temperature checking, movement of goods, loading, unloading, picking packaging for the day ahead and dispatch of all stock. This role involves use of Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE - Electric Stand on trucks, Counterbalance and Reach trucks). Experience of MHE is desirable, however full training will be provided if required.
Please note that the majority of work will involve working in chilled and ambient environments - full PPE is included.
The shift pattern for this position is 4 on 4 off working 12 hours. 0600-1800 and a weekly paid role

- Good communication skills
- Good level of numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Previous experience of working in a warehouse/packing role is desirable
- Electric Stand on truck trained and/ or Counterbalance and Reach truck trained is desirable
- Certificates in basic food hygiene and health & safety are also desirable
