Our Business Unit Solid Round Tools – the fastest growing area in the company – is now looking for a manager for our Grades and Technology team to lead strategy-, technology-, and people development. A great opportunity to develop and progress in a world-leading company!
Your mission
In this position, you manage our R&D team, responsible for grade and technology development, and safeguard seamless collaboration with the rest of our global organization. You develop, lead and implement our work within the area by managing activities as well as follow-up on cost, time and quality. Your good leadership skills direct, develop and prepare the team to ensure that innovative products, technologies, systems and processes are developed and improved upon. You ensure that the operational work – including goals, financial monitoring, investments, licenses, quality assurance, safety and the environment – runs smoothly. Leading and developing people to establish clear business accountability and end-to-end autonomy through applying change management is a crucial part of your job.
You report to the Head of Offer and Technology. The location for this position is Västberga, Stockholm and some international travel is part of your job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with several years’ work experience in an R&D organization, perhaps as a Senior R&D Professional, Project Manager or equivalent. You have excellent skills in tools and methods used in this line of work and knowledge of how to build confidence in decisions to bring clarity and efficiency into processes. Experience in people management and from a leading position is important in this role to be able to empower and drive the team. We believe that your knowledge is backed by a Master of Science or equivalent. Acting in a truly global environment calls for excellent communication skills in English.
