KPMG is now seeking an employee for our internal unit Quality & Risk Management (QRM) - an exciting and important support function for our business operations, handling everything from system support of our risk systems to quality controls and independence issues.
About the role
Quality & Risk Management is a central part of KPMG's control function. We work, among other things, on performing quality and risk controls and provide ongoing advice and support in ethics and independence matters to our employees in the business operations. The group currently consists of 23 employees.
To provide even better support to the business and as a result of our development of processes in independence, client acceptance, and compliance, we need to further strengthen our function and are now seeking a Compliance Specialist.
The specialist in this role will primarily work within the System of Quality Management (SoQM) project based on the new auditing standard ISQM1 (International Standard of Quality Management 1). SoQM requires us to design controls to address the identified risks and support a multitude of business processes. The implemented controls are tested on an annual basis and undergo continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Work on control design within the framework of SoQM.
Support of control operation both in Sweden, as well as our subsidiaries in Latvia and Lithuania.
Collaboration with other functions within KPMG to ensure high quality.
Maintenance of relevant systems.
We are looking for someone with an academic education in economics, IT, or related fields, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in auditing, or compliance within banking, or similar activities. You have experience working with corporate clients, are accustomed to large and complex organizations and structures, and have an interest for process improvement. As a person, you are analytical, detail-oriented, possess high integrity, and have good social and communication skills.
You communicate and work fluently in English. Swedish and/or other Scandinavian languages, are a plus.
