If you’re excited about sustainability transformation and working within renewable energy, and your background is within sustainability management or environmental science, social sciences, business, and economics, we encourage you to submit your interest.

What you'll get to do as a Sustainability Intern: 

• Support in the implementation of the RWE Clean Energy Sustainability Action Plan
• Independently conduct research and data evaluation to support our sustainability projects
• Take over responsibility for own working packages and own small projects in the frame of the Sustainability Action Plan
• Support in the preparation of presentations, required reports, and other communication material

Qualifications: 

• Advanced academic background (senior in undergrad/current grad student) with one of the following or related concentrations: sustainability management, environmental science, social policy, business or economics
• Demonstrated interest in corporate sustainability transformation, energy transition, or renewable energy
• Demonstrated interest and first-hand experience in working in one of several of the following topics is considered an asset; climate change mitigation, biodiversity, circular economy, or stakeholder engagement (e.g. project work, case studies, thesis papers, internships, etc.) 
• You are motivated and want to contribute your ideas
• Possess a proactive and structured way of working and show excellent communication skills
• Team player with the flexibility to work both independently and in cross-functional teams
