In this role, you will support our deck teams onboard while developing your skills and knowledge on our vessels. This role has no set location; you will have the opportunity to work on all of our Irish Sea ferries.
As a Second Officer, you are responsible to the master in all respects and are directly accountable to them for the execution of your duties. Your tasks as an officer are diverse and as such you will have the opportunity to use and develop your problem-solving skills in a wide range of scenarios. As a 2nd officer you are responsible for:

Qualifications:
- Chief Officer Unlimited CoC
- STCW Elementary First Aid
- STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
- STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities
- STCW Personal Survival Techniques
- STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
- STCW Seafarers with Designated Security Duties
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK and UK National Insurance number
Preferred Certification:
- Crowd Management Training
- Passenger Safety Training
Ropax vessel experience is strongly preferred for this role.
